need part name/number if possible. ASAP

my GP friends over at clubgp arent really workin too well today. need an answer as soon as possible. the GTP's down till i get this fixed.

ok, the part i need is on the rack part of my steering assembly. each side is bolted to the engine cradle. the drivers side is bolted right below the pinion, the passenger side is bolted down using what looks like a pipe clamp. it circles around the top of the rack, comes back down and is joined at the bottom by two bolt holes, which are bolted to the cradle.

this is it, in broken form, on my car. center of the picture.

in this one it's the bottom two pictures. in the second to the bottom picture it's almost a close up of the loop itself. it's pretty much the only thing looping around the top of the rack and coming together at a bolt hole at the bottom. the bottom one is just a further picture of it showing you it's orientation.

so, anyone know what it's called? if i can even get it seperate? or am i screwed into looking for a new rack and pinion. or could a junkyard have one? any answers would be great and more than i already have

it's not how fast you go, it's how you get there that counts.

JBO lube - they would never have enough in stock and we'd never see RodimusPrime again
