Come on BMW guys... you are the ones mostly still using these...
So I have stumbled upon some tires in my garrage... 220/50 R 390 Michelin TRX tires. I find out they are quite rare. The TRX design started in the 70s and progressed through the 80s and got phased out by newer, better technology. So now I am wondering. Does any one know what the average going price is for these??
I hear a lot of different answers, and I can't seem to find anything at all on the BMW forums.
And any more info on these? Like I said, all I know for sure is that they are rare as hell, BMW guys are still using em on thier 80's BMWs with the stock 390mm alloys, and that Ford and SAAB also tried em back in the 70s and 80s...
thanks for any info ya'll can come up with
On the other hand....you have other fingers.

old tires = junk
them trx metric tires were garbage when new , and why ford got rid of them
They still make trx tires. they are overpriced and a bad tire. i would say you can probably get 5 - 10 bucks for them. most people try to stay away from them. I know that's the first thing i did when i got my 535 out with the 14.5's .
but what i found is there are still people with their stock alloys on those older BMW's.... dont they have no choice? lol
