What cars currently unavailable in North America would you like to see produced here?

My own wishlist:

Ford Ka
Ford Falcon
Ford Falcon Ute
Holden Ute
Suzuki Jimny
Suzuki Swift Sport
Toyota Landcruiser 70

I'm sure I'm missing a few, but off the top of my head that's what I would want. One of the things we're most missing now are RWD sedans and small economy cars. Most of the ones we have like the Fit or the Aveo are such ugly crap. Also, NONE come with diesel engines. If I'm gonna go slow, might as well get 50mpg for it you know? It's ridiculous to have an ugly car with 5 doors give me only slighly better mileage than a Cobalt while giving me much much worse performance and looks. Also, STOP making these things so expensive by filling them to the brim with options. Has no one heard of bare-bones anymore? I want 4 wheels and a seat. I'd much rather pay 9,999$ for a diesel version of the Ka and not have any options at all than pay more for stuff I honestly couldn't care less about. I don't want a center console or cupholders or even a flipping radio. I just want something to go to work and get groceries with. Otherwise I wouldn't be buying the CHEAPEST CAR in the lineup. And since I'm driving a god awful car, might as well not cost a fortune in gas either. And while we're on the subject, put some 13 inch tires on that sucker because I'm not paying out my a** for 16 inch snowtires. Make it cheap with a warranty and not too ugly to look at. That's all I ask.

As for the RWD sedans, most full-size (and even mid-size) "family" cars are no longuer bought by families. Most people buy compact cars, vans or SUVS instead. So lets stop pretending that sedans are gonna make a comeback. They're not. Also, since the compact pickup trucks are dissapearing, might as well replace them with car based trucks. Would make a lot of people in California happy.

The last two are much needed barebones 4x4s. However, I doubt they'd import them. We love to litigate and blame everything on the company, not to mention that such vehicles aren't profitable when sold to people who actually want them to go OFF-ROAD and won't pay 60 grand for a luxury car masquarading as a serious off-road machine. If something has vibrating massage seats and adjustable pedals I find it hard to take it seriously.
