it has safety straps for the camera that you can put through the window or what not. I tell you what the suction cups on this thing rock
i don't really know what you would be able to do about the wind noise
Does you camera have an optional microphone plug-in? That would be a super easy way to get rid of wind noise.
if you look at any of the other videos, they dont have the wind noise.

told you those suction cups are amazing....also get like a bag to cover the microphone. If you have oakley sunglasses the bag they come in is great to cover the microphone with.

nope both my canon s3 camera and sony camcorders both are built into the housing and no external plugins
you can see the microphone holes on both sides of the lens on the top section
The noise is from wind hitting microphones directly. You need to build a diffuser of some sort to block the wind. Perhaps a paper plate that is cut to fit around the lens would help.
Wow, where did you get that and how much did it cost you?
With the microphone being built into the camera, I would think there would be sound settings within it to turn down how much sounds is being picked up. That could lower the level of the wind noise when you have the final output.
Cool liitle clip. I just ordered a stickpod last week actually after using my friends. That thing is cool.
Have a good one,
Justin
how about turning the camera around so it faces the rear? The driving vids wouldn't be as great but some low speed, circlular motins (read burnouts/doughnuts) would look cool.

you don't have to tell me about that man.I have a z85 Canyon with the same rear. How about that 2-3 shift at 88+ mph.I swear it feels like a powerglide at the track, one shift and thats it.By the way my s/n @ coloradofans.com is kNOCKrETARD. I haven't posted much but I am starting.

Cool wonder how it would do with a heavier camera in the same position?
Say one like this.....
Seems you would have to mount it flat like on a hood/trunk?
Been thinking of getting a mount of some sort but all the cage mounts don't support as much weight as the vx2100.
Might end up buying a smaller 3cccd cam just for cage/outside car shots.
