Does the factory Pioneer subwoofer enclosure have a built-in amplifier or is it seperate?
Thanks for any help
.
its separate
also their sub doesnt fit in the cavalier
i know ive tried , ive also go the amp too
Thanks Eric.
Yeah I tested fitment for myself, no go...
Possible buyer wanted to know though, and I wasn't 100%.
yea the sub is in the trunk amp is under the dash i think not to sure.
yup under the dash
the sub will fit on a angle and attached to the back seat , lol
im thinking of making a small box and just using the sub , then selling the enclosure empty (ive got 2 of them)
How does that factory sub sound?

Its actually pretty weak, im getting ready to replace with either one of the new kicker comp vt or the pioneer shallow mount, the kicker is a much better sub though, only problem is finding a nice small size amp with big power

old rockford fosgate amp would work perfect /\
i like mine for a stock system its really nice. really clear and the bass is not ever done so the car dont rattle.
