Check it out! Hurst/Olds replica Look at those sweet Lightning Rod shifters. Those would look awesome in an automatic J. Wonder if it could fit. Hurst should make those again.

Well, of course it's not real. They never made a 94. However, only two H/O's ever came in black and silver and that was the '68 and the '83. (Maybe the 73 too right? Am not sure) Every other one was in gold and white. I just was admiring the creativity and craftmanship of getting the lightning rod shifter to fit on the FWD tranny.

Keep in mind, I love oddball or special edition vehicles, and have a soft spot for Oldsmobiles as well (former Achieva SCX owner). However, that "1994 H/O" just looks nasty. #1, the lightning rods look absofrigginlutely out of place on a car with a "modern" interior. #2, any classic Olds owner should feel compelled to rip that "W30" badge off of the fender. #3, why do I get the impression that the only things done to that "Hurst/Olds" are the shifters and badging. Ugh, if you're going to impersonate a classic performance vehicle, give the car the cojones to back it up.

Aww man, don't rip at my heartstrings. I would if I had a) room to store it and b) cash to do anything with it, including insure it.

What I'd give if my tC had that high end kick the W41 did.

There's 4 actual H/O's built in 88, the rest are from kits that are long discontinued (probably already common knowledge for H/O fans)

Best bet is to check here:

yes but if you were to have bought those kits and put them on a cutlass supreme and then request it, they would have sent you the paper work and you'd have a 88 hurst/olds.
