Ford admits "indirectly" selling vehicles to Iran, Syria, and Sudan. What kind of effects do you people think this may have on the companys' reputation here in the states? I say patriotism before profits, i don't care how far in the red you are.

They're selling land rovers to the Sudanese goverment which as we all know is one of the most brutal, oppresive regimes in the middle east.

could this be the end?

You know, I hate ford.

But I really dont care about this. So what if they are selling vehicles to them? Its not like they are embargo-ed or anything. If they didnt buy fords, then they'd buy some other countries @!#$. Actually, ford is doing us a favor.... when all their vehicles break down on them we have the advantage

Maybe Im just pissed, pissed that my freinds are spineless, What else would you
call abandoment some night, when you're in a fight, and they could make things right?
Spineless. I miss some of my old friends, the ones who you could count on,
bet a huge amount on, the fact that they'd always have your back... Its like a kick in
the sack, just knowing, you've got nothing to fall back on. @!#$ this, Im done.

Well then the terrorists 'indirectly' supported america, so it gets canceled out. End of thread. Only weird asses give a @!#$. Remember when if you drove an SUV you supported terrorism?

By thinking independently, you support Terrorism.

Toyota, Mitsubishi, Ford, GM and Mercedes-Benz all sell vehicles in sketchy countries. Get over it, patriotism doesn't do squat for your bottom line and Ford can't afford to be choosey about who they sell to.

You think all the gas you pump in your car comes from the US. Stop filling up on terrorism. Give me a break. Our country isn't run on patriotism, moral ethics and the good of the people. Its commercialism; He who has the most money wins.

Just like six degrees of seperation, you can pull the same thing with terrorist organizations. Everyone supports terrorism, and terrorism everyone. Its a cycle.

If ford doesn't sell them vehicles someone else will. In the end its better that ford get paid for the vehicles pays taxes on the profits to the US goverment which is then used to parade around the world eliminating any country it is able to convince congress is a threat.

My question is why is everyone looking forward to the end of so many domestic companies. Like dodge Ford and GM especially when we drive or own domestic vehichles. Honestly it seems like some people want GM and Ford to go away. No i do not like every car produced but they still have helped build this country economically as well as automotively and not just for the US but for the whole fisking world. So lay off theses manufactureres honestly their huge and still neccesary so they arent "ending" or going away soon at all.

Hey Mercedes-Benz used to provide ovens for the Holocaust in WW2 but people around the world still buy them for personal use, police, taxi, dump trucks, school buses, package delivery.
It is a company out to make money and a struggling company to that, that is one of the many attributes of Capitalism.
Besides Ford was a Hitler admirer, so Ford's reputation hasn't been politically correct.

who gives a &^@ if ford, or any other company, sells their product to "terrorists"? they could come up with a new vehicle called the ford "terror" designed for middle eastern countries and It still shouldnt bother us one least bit...

its a business, thats what businesses do, sell no matter to who, just sell.

Speaking of Hitler, Ferdinand Porsche(sp?) created the Volkswagon company and bug(beetle?) for him.
So what a company does for money doesn't really mean it is supporting a certain group or type of person.
as long they didn't give money directly that is not really anyones concern but their own.
