I find that statement funny, "and you know the quality is there."
Anyway as stated before, google ebay, find some fit forums, look in magazines as well.

Honda? Aftermarket support?

Even though the Fit is fairly new it already has a huge aftermarket following. Look around.

Yes it does, I work for Jones honda and we can't even keep them on the showroom floor, thats how fast they are going.

it's not really new, just new to North America.

Ugh. I HATE fits. They are ugly, ballz slow, and massively overpriced. A K20 swap would be the only saving grace of the car.

Maybe Im just pissed, pissed that my freinds are spineless, What else would you
call abandoment some night, when you're in a fight, and they could make things right?
Spineless. I miss some of my old friends, the ones who you could count on,
bet a huge amount on, the fact that they'd always have your back... Its like a kick in
the sack, just knowing, you've got nothing to fall back on. @!#$ this, Im done.

I loved the test drive of it, it was fun and peppy.

very underpowerd, it was hell just trying to get that thing on the highway! yeah it should come from the factory with a k20

I don't see many around here, but they seem like nice little cars. From the reviews it seems like you want to avoid the slushbox so you can get to the "power" when you want it.

There's a bunch of aftermarket for the FiT...

The problem is that the Fit in NA is not the same as the Fit/Jazz in the rest of the world because there's different crash/headlight regs....

SuperStreet Mag did a small car issue, and they're currently drooling over the platform (it's got possibilities, but it's not winning any speed/agility records just yet), so you'll prolly see more soon enough. It's the newest Scion Xb, Toyota Yaris/Echo.... Who'da thunk the Civic would pork out?

When all you can say about a car is its 'peppy', that means its slow. For a real comparison, drive a Fit then drive an Accord V6 or a Civic Si. Then you'll really realize how slow a Fit really is.

And heaven forbid you live somewhere like San Francisco and drive a Fit, there are roads in that city you probably couldn't drive on, because they are too steep for the car to make it up.

Dave: It'll make it up, just depends on how long you're willing to wait, or push

Seriously, it's an econobox, who cares... you can stuff in a K20, B-series (but why?) and what not or Turbo the engine... it's the same thing about the J's.

Thats great and all but you just compared a car that has 109 horsepower and 105lbs torque to a car that has 244 horsepower and 211lbs of torque.

Regardless of anyone's opinion, I liked it. But I enjoyed my test drive of the 2 door Civic and 06 CRV better.

ehh i dont know. I personally feel the fit is overpriced for what it is. If I was looking for a subcompact i would go for the yaris, at least it's a little bigger , or it looks bigger (the 4 door model)......
