alright well im lookin at getting a wrecked Scion tC and basically i need a place to get a couple front fenders that look better then stock and i think ill just order a stock front bumper. i also need a radiator if anyone knows where theres one of those for cheap.
then for you auto body guys how much do you think it would cost at the most to have the cradle fixed where the control arm connects to it? it got hit in the front left and thats pretty much the only things wrong with it besides the airbags which is a bitch and a broken windshield. they want 5k for it but ill talk em down a little bit. has every option and a 5 speed with only 6k miles on it. retail of about 16k on nada in good condition. think its worth it?

Salvage title or no? If it's a salvage buyback, I'd probably back away from it. The case that you're describing isn't uncommon; more than a few virtually-new tCs have been totalled due to head on collisions for multiple reasons. Little, if any, aftermarket parts availability (meaning it's probably back to the dealer for the radiator), the replacement of the entire dashboard if the air bags blow (passenger side shatters the upper panel, driver's knee air bag shatters the lower) and the location of the ABS control module (front passenger corner) make them pricey fixes, even before you're talking about frame work.
If you pay 5K for the car, expect to put at absolute minimum 1.5 times that into it. $5,000 car + $7,500 repair = $12,500 for a car with a salvage title. New, unwrecked tCs are only 16k; doesn't seem worth it to pay almost 75% of that for a salvage car.

i can probly install most of the stuff my self. i had the frame wirk on on my old car and it only cost 350 to fix in the realatively same place(hit a curb at about 50) i know a guy that owns a body shop so maybe a good deal on the body work or i can live with the damage for a little while. still not worth it?

Find out if it's a salvage title or not. If it is, there is a reason that a BRAND NEW CAR with obscenely high resale was TOTALLED. Like I said, tCs have been notorious for obscene damage in front end collisions.
