Just when you thought it couldn't get any better [or was never any good to begin with for you Scion haters - lol], Project Her tC got some extra ponies thrown under the hood. This turbo has been the bane of mine and Matt's existance for the last few weeks - but finally the freaking thing is DONE. Just when I thought he couldn't be a better boyfriend, he goes and proves there's always more.
Here's some pics...
Everyone who loves it, should direct their praise to me and if you hate it, PM Matt and tell him it sucks. LoL. J/K <33
We'll be at Hot Import Nights here in LA this weekend - Woo Hoo!
Looks great, any numbers?
Hey Kevin,
HP numbers on the standard Dezod kit are ranging from 245 - 255 WHP. Approximately 100 hp gain. Torque is around 250 - 260 lbs. Once the E-Manage is on we'll be able to open it up and see what it does. We are running a larger intercooler and recirculating the wastegate, so that may keep the numbers on the low end of those ranges. I'll say that it was A LOT easier to work on this turbo setup as opposed to an Ecotec or LD9. Much more room to work with on installation and size things up. All in all, the car has come together really well.

Damn! Thats awesome, the car looks great too. The color reminds me of your cav. As always, good work.
god damn i love that car, and now i love it even more...
Thats the nicest TC I've ever seen, I havnt seen many but that thing is pretty sweet and the turbo setup looks great.
How many steps to heaven, Doc?
...Ah, metaphysics.
I'm not really a big fan of the wide-body, but I can't argue with that turbo.
1983 Camaro Z28
here's the question I pose
yes it looks awesome...
will it see a dyno?
will it see a drag track?
will it see any kinda of racing/dynoing?
if no.... 'tis a waste of money. (my BIGGEST pet peeve is a show car with a huge turbo kit and a lotta bang, and it's trailered around {not saying yours is} and that its never driven hard)
if yes... sweet and post some vids of that thing ripping
LE61T PTE6262 Powered
That looks awesome!!
Matt, is that the same colour that your Cav was???
To this day, that's still my favourite car colour (or, rather, combination of layered colours)... and I don't think you ever told me what it was...
After the E-Manage is on and some tuning is done, we'll put her on the dyno and get some numbers on paper. Doubtful it'll ever see a drag/race track considering I would off myself if something happened to it - not to mention what Matt would do to me if something happened. LoL.
Other than that, its just fun to look at, cruise around, and show the Honda boys who's boss.
Looks very nice!

Two wrongs don't make a right. Unless you're Chuck Norris.
Then two wrongs make a roundhouse kick to the face.
Kevin,
It is close to the color mine was. Her's is a HoK candy apple red with a gold base coat. Mine was HoK candy red with a silver base coat. I guess to make it officially candy "apple" red, you have to use a gold base coat. Heard this from Craig Fraser of Air Syndicate that painted her car. About 8 layers of candy were on mine. I just loved how mine went from red to a crazy reddish orange in the light. Lots of depth on that paint job. Now, the depth of dust on that paint job is just as impressive. So yeah, there is a little Teske in the layout of her car. But, honestly, this thing far surpasses what my car was in a lot of ways. Probably my favorite car I have ever built. And, it was cool building it with a my lady. Made it fun.
And thank you Todd.... I feel the love.

Has your car ever seen a track or dyno in the past 2 years? Just curious.
Looking good Matt, those cars see some awesome gains when boosted via snail. I snooped around at the Turbonetics and Greddy kits for the tC when looking into them.
