and they say its going to have over 300 ft.lbs and well over 300 hp and well under 6 0-60. I think its going to be a great car. My brother inlaw is going to trade his 2006 charger r/t for it. Very nice car I think.

and even so who cares? all cars are designed off of some basic design. this one is done fantastic. and with those power numbers will out perform its comp.

The G8 and charger have more hp. I am sure some of the other models they are competing against will as well.

hahah the g8, the charger, and the 300c are the only ones in its class that have v8's. the others are all 4 cylinders and 6 cylinder engines. so of course it'll outperform the camry and the g35 sedan and the such. but put it up against a srt-8 charger and its done!
on there web site they claim tobe up there with bmw m5 and the audi a8
I hope they are talking about luxury when they say that because no way will they compete in performance.

uhm m5 has 500hp. No way is a 300hp car going to outperform it and still have some luxary to it.

it could possibly have nice numbers when compared to an m5. the only thing comparable isnt just straight line speed and acceleration.
I am not saying it would beat the m5 but it is very possible for it to have formidable track times.

Reading the article, the car is larger, weight distro is not quite 50/50, and a 0-60 of less than 6 seconds. I doubt it will come close to the m5 in any category except being cheaper. The standard 5 series should be no problem tho.
