the motor has the basic 20-50k on it from japan and has less then 10k on it since its been here. picked it up for 3k

a 240 with a honda motor? Drop in that Srdet20 motor in and make that thing a Silvia.

i dont know much on nissans. and i already have a turbo money pit. i needed a reliable and fun daily driver. plus the miles on the 240 were getting up there

Its all good man, a silvia was just always a car on my list of things to do. An knowing about the mileage thats why I was suggesting to swap in a newer skyline motor (SRDET20) model. Bolts right in. The silvia is essentially the heavy sister of the skyline but a mean drifter.

the reason it came with a RB is because in japan it was swapped out for a skyline rb, in japan 240sx (silvias) came with sr20det motors, skylines came with rb motors and there are alot of different variations of each. no silvia ever came factory with an rb motor in it
