It gets the oil light but the oil is full! After about 30min of driving you can hear a clicking noise under the valve cover. Mabey the pump is going bad..? Thanks.

Am not 100% sure about this, but I don't think the oil light in Ford's is just for low oil. It might also by for oil related issues. Does it come on and stay on, or does it flash in a pattern? Am trying to remember what my Mustang used to do.

Could be low oil pressure? Not sure how to test that.. but if you hear clattering from underneath the valve cover chances are something is wrong with the oil delivery.

^^ thats what im thinking.... knox- after about 30 min the oil light does comes on and off. But after driving and when I stop to check it agian my oil is full and there is a clicking noise under the valve cover. I think the pump is not working properly. I did crack the head last year where water mixed with the oil. It was like that for a week before I found the cheap way of fixing it. I got some k&w Block seal for $8 at auto zone. Never had a problem since... but then again I put the car away after the fix for about another year. The head is still sealed! Now I brought the beast back and get this oil light... no check engine tho. Just an oil light. The pump cost $20 on ebay but I want to see what others have to say and how to diagnose it. This will be my car when I start building my n/a ld9 motor. Thanks. Danny.

my guess would be is that the oil pressure sending unit is going bad or already is bad.

People say that what doesn't kill you in this life
will make you stronger. I'm not sure if that is true
or not, but i do know one thing-You have to learn from
it and it has to make you better.......it has to.......
