For those who understand about the Euro cars and Turbo system, please lend me a hand. My friend's Porche Cayenne Turbo consumes oil. For every 2000Km, he needs to dump in 1L of oil, it sounds to me that there's some crack in his turbocharger because I see the exhaust tips are inordinarily dirty with black films of ugly things. When he starts the car, you can already see very thin smoke coming out from time to time.
Well Im not sure a J-body forum is the best place for advice on a Porsche....but anyways. That kind of oil consumption seems a bit extreme. I would slap your friend and tell him to bring his $120K+ car to the dealer. If theres a crack anywheres in the turbo system, the car probably would have had a major issue by now. Cracked turbo housings dont really go un-noticed for a great length of time. Nuff said.

^^^ Werd. There's $120K worth of warranty to work with there too
And now for something completely different... Click the Minister.
I feel so bad for him.... not. Take it back to Porsche.

The seals on the turbo are bad if it's eating oil. Is it putting out any blue smoke?
Why doesnt he have the dealer look at it? It has to be under warrenty since it only came out only 2 years ago. Also, tell him to hook me up with a job since he is rollin around in a Porsche Cayenne Turbo S.
