...the Aston Martin Vanquish is no longer sold in the American market. I did finally see one yesterday on my way home from work. It was a gun metal grey and the V12 engine has such a unique engine note. Not high pitched like a Ferrari or a Maserati, but not the low pitch like a Corvette or a Mustang GT. It is a very elegant looking sports (super) car with chrome and unreal fit and finish. I didnt realize how low and wide a car it is. The rear tires are massive. I would not have been able to keep up with it in my Cavalier if it hadnt been for all of the traffic. Granted a C6 Corvette is just as fast as the Vanquish, but there was something about the styling of the Vanquish and the sound of the exhaust that made it seem more sophisticated. I could almost smell the Connolly leather from 2 cars lengths back! At least now I can say I saw(and heard) one on the road.

Our company has a client that has a Vanquish and the new Ford GT. Seeing it more than a dozen times it the past 6 months still hasn't taken away the awe effect.
