Okay, so I found this yesterday, went for a test drive and really, really liked it. Everything was tight, smooth, and it handled and ran great. I Couldn't find any points of concern on the body, or in the interior. Here is a pic and the link to some more info.

The best part is, that they will give me $4,000 for trade in of the pathfinder, which is pretty much enough to pay off my line of credit, so I won't need to worry about having two payments every month. Also, I won't need to go through the hassle of trying to sell it private.
What do you think, should I call them from work tomorrow and tell them I am coming at 5pm to have another look? The GF still needs to see it, as she will likely drive it a bit in the summer and I will drive the GTP to save money on gas.
I know I would prefer a Silverado over a Sierra, but really, does it matter?

Sounds pretty good to me.
I have an 02 Sierra and love it much more than any other car i've driven. The suspension is a little rougher than what i'm used to, but it's a truck.
With the 5.3 and the Z71 package you should be very pleased with it.
However, i'm not sure how many miles 75k is, but I got my 02 Sierra Reg Cab Stepside for $13,995. That is U.S. Dollars, $21k just sounds alot, even though I'm guessing you are in Canada.
check out www.gm-trucks.com and you will see that the 4.8 and 5.3 can really last. There are people with over 250k on them with no major problems.
I have an 02 silverado extended cab lt. Its a goot truck. 5.3L engine is strong what what it needs. We got ours w/ 34k miles on it for 16k. Already had a bed liner, hitch, has heated seats. Only thing is its two wheel drive but around here you don't need 4x4 so much.

4wd is a must where I live.
75k kms = 45k miles.

I think its a little much
^^^ The truck is a little much? Or the price for the truck?

x2 on the price being a little high.
Talk them down to $18k. That is a more realistic price for that year and mileage. Also, I personally like the GMC better than the chevrolets.

Not to be a punk or anything, but it's the same exact thing as the Chevy, except the badges.
Unless you are talking about the 03+ Sierras.

Negatory homebrew...
I don't have @!#$ gray plastic molding on the doors, or headlights and taillights that don't flow. I get good looking pieces with chrome trim in all the right places.
BTW, I have an 01 Sierra. I love it, daily drive it 500+ miles a week (in the winter), and it's always comfortable.
Always need an action photo with the truck in it.

Nice truck. My mom has a '98 Sierra 1500 that she loves to death with over 200,000miles on it. She refuses to ever get a Chevrolet truck, only GMC. Treat it right, it'll last you a long time. Also to note, my mom uses her truck for hauling hay, feed, and various other things, it's a farm truck.

Price seems high, especially with the completely redesigned ones coming out. You should be able to find one for less.

Sold 2/2/05
I have been looking for 2 months now. This is the best deal on an 02 SLT Sierra/Silverado with this low of kms, I have seen. (Also, the best trade offer I have gotten for the Pathfinder)
There are cheaper ones out there, but they are either low kms SL's or SLE's. Or, they are high kms SLT's.
I looked on trader for 2 hours last night, and couldn't find anything that was so much of a better deal, to throw away the good trade, and also I would have to drive like 1-3 hours for some of them. Nuts to that.

Just got back from buying it, I couldn't get them to go any lower on the price, but they did throw in a year's warranty. So I am happy with that.
I pick it up on Wednesday, I will post some pics in a new thread when I get some time to take them.
