Not bad for a stock DSM. The mustang never over took him. It wasn't until he ran out of gas that the cops got him. I guess if the DSM had a full tank the 5.0 would have blown a head gasket before he ran out of gas. lol

Fact of life, We had a dsm and it was the biggest pile of @!#$ i have ever seen. Brand new motor installed by the dealer and it still ate oil and coolant.

Yes DSMs suck.. On another note. I have seen movies where people really do get away, but you never see them on TV. only online. there is a Vette one, and a Camaro one i have seen. They dont car jack anyone the just speed until a cop trys to pull them over then they start

HAHA just because your dsm went through oil doesnt mean all of them do haha. that is great lol. i swear to god out of all the @!#$ talking ive heard about dsm's i havnt honestly NEVER heard that to be one of the "huge" problems. thats why i said it. i mean yea i hear "oh yea your dsm is gonna crankwalk" even if its a 91 or so people will say that @!#$ haha its great. haha damn i better go put oil in both my motors right now though, thanks for letting me know guys, wouldnt even bother to check. man all these years and ive risked running out of oil.

i own a dsm, im on several dsm forums, and know several dsm owners. it it is a common problem for high mileage cars to leak/burn oil. just cause u havent heard it before doesnt mean it isnt a problem. good cars nonetheless. most cars have inherit quarks. if you know what they are then usually the problem can be avoided. tc j-bodies like to spin rod bearings, and we all know isuzu trannies dont like spirited driving either. but i would still say there good cars.

your absolutly right!!!! it is a common problem for HIGH MILEAGE cars to burn oil. however these people never once said high mileage cars, they said dsm. i just think its funny how these horrible steriotypes keep poping up about dsm's. so the better way to put that may have been "that dsm may possibly have migh miles, so he can just wait untill it runs out of oil as all high milage cars tend to do" instead of making it seem like dsms just burn up oil. and yea flame me for being a "dsm fanboi" whatever, as you can see that has NEVER bothered me and it never will. as long as people are out there talking crap about things they know nothing about i will continue to correct it so people dont keep passing around wrong information. thanks though.

not gonna lie most have a huge amount of miles on it. but no one has ANY way of knowing weather or not the motor inn that video has 2k miles on it, so saying wait till it runs out of oil cause its a dsm is a VERY VERY ignorant statement.
Id have to say its probably an older vid I would say early 90s so yeah. I think they were just joking around about it tho.

yea it is. but im sure you can understand where im coming from. i own and live by dsm's. and all this false crap going around about them kinda pisses me off at times.
I know, believe me. My car is one of the most trash talked around which is funny to me and the people who own/ know a bit about them.
