Really? If you're keeping score, the Auto-trans can keep a turbo spooled, and you can wind up a torque converter, let off the brake and have a very nice and consistent take off. Way more consistent than a standard at any rate.

Is it at all possible that Jay Leno, even as big of a car nut as he is, could make a mistake? And possibly meant C6 when he said Z06? In any case, I'm sure it is an auto out of a Corvette, and he isn't just talking out his ass.

I'm Canadian and here it's definately "Zed Oh Six" Which is way cooler.. Zee.. Pfft.. The only time it sounds right is when referring to a certain Texas Blues/Rock band.. "Zed Zed Top" just plain sounds stupid
