what do you all think of my new ride? i'm glad i didn't go with the cobalt ( no offensive to anyone who has one ) only because i don't see many g5's around town. actually i haven't seen any other then the ones at the dealers. of course now that i've said that i'll be seeing them left and right.



i still have the cavalier and plan to keep it, at least for now. i'll be using it to drive in snow and plus it gives me something to tinker with and if something goes wrong i won't have to worry about not being able to get around

nice purchase, i like the rear better on the g5. if you dont mind me asking how much?..............should have went up one more to the gt. sharp car.



maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow....... but some day

thanks. before taxes and all that bs a little under $18k. i wanted a gt but there weren't any at the lot where i bought it, plus $$$wise it was all i could afford. besides the gt is only 25hp more. not worth the extra $2-$5k if you ask me. and in a few years i'll probably trade it in for a G6 GXP.

yes i know it's a cobalt w/ pontiac badges, but i tried chevy with the cavalier so now i'm giving pontiac a try. plus i'll check into it but i don't think the cobalts come in that color, which i feel makes it stand out from the other deltas around town (besides the cosmetics). and as i said before, i'm sure there are few G5's in the area, but i haven't seen any on the road. i see cobalts everywhere. and it's the little things, which i'm not sure is the same for the cobalts, why i like the G5 better.

so say all you want about it still being a cobalt. until a chevy emblem magically appears i'll see it as a G5

looks like you paid extra for paint too , lol

personally like the gt front bumper better , either they are nicer looking than they cobalt


you get the auto or stick ?

that paint does cost extra. the color is what really sold me.

i'm sure if i really wanted to i could slap a gt front bumper on it.

got an auto. i haven't posted any interior pics yet on my cardomain. gonna try to get to that tomorrow.

i wanted a stick but all they had were white and silver base models. and i've already made up my mind i wasn't going to get another white car and i'm not a big fan of silver. so i sacrificed the stick for the color and sport package. i still would like to have a stick so my plan when i save enough will be to convert the cavy into one.

nice looking color. that color you do have to pay extra for but i dont think its that much more. check out www.clubg5.net the car is great.
