in the trunk area if you remove the carpeting there is some duct work and what looks like a blower motor. The duct work looks like it ends as a tube aimed at the coil, i cant find any info on this anyone know what it is? by the way it is a 2.8 auto if that matters.

They actaully routed it that way to keep the ignition coil cool to keep from frying them all the time. How well it works, well, they DIDNT do it in 88, so it must notta helped all that much. Itd actaully just be better to totally re-mount the coil to a cooler spot.
And that is the blower motor back there. there should also be a tube aimed at your alternator.
Under Construction, should be finished before years over...
