Nice pick up man, Iv never liked the hondas but I love the color of that one(Bumble Bee). My buddy has the exact same one...
Brown Eye: The D&D is going, it was on when I got it but it sounds terrible, its just annoyingly loud!
ORT: I am gonna be as careful as I can! Its got a huge amount of @!#$ power!
Rosario: Honda makes the best bikes! But I love the color, thus the reason I drove so far to get it!
well, the D&D on my bike is ultra mega sexy, i've actually never heard one on a 4-cylinder though (just twins). Yoshis are nice on fours, though
I wouldn't call it a monster but... they are good first bikes. Looks clean, be careful. Get a Yosh! I have a 954 now, start out on a zx6r. You will want something bigger soon.

looks like a nice bike, i just picked up a 03 gixxer at the start of the summer, lets just say, welcome to your new addiction.
and glad to hear that the D&D pipe is going, they sound like @!#$ and i heard that they are @!#$ty performance wise. i got a yosh rs-3 on mine and i like it, i hear akropovic, termignoni, and arrow supurb exhaust.
enjoy!
oh yeah, make sure you buy gear too. dont be a squid!
I agree. I hate riding with my buddy who has the D&D on his GSXR1000. My ears ring after riding with him.. I have a nice Quite VFR800 (with Vtec) But I am going to be turboing it hopefully this winter

Thats debateable(defintly not in handeling) but i meant, i dont like the looks of the hondas...I dont know what it is...Either way have fun with that, i promise, as much as people say its only a 600 and its a good starter bike, it has plenty enough power to have fun on.

the muffler.
not a bad lookin bike. not really a fan of the yellow, but hondas do have a good look to them. pretty good performance wise, but i'll stick to my yami.
Thanks for all the comments, I am sad to say I am bike-less for 3 weeks while I am now back at school and its home
Anyways for the exhaust I plan on a yosh, maybe mircon, or some others.... Just for D&D!!
And this bike has plenty of power for me! Redline=14k. I havent got her above 5k so far! I doubt I will jump up to a 1000 anytime soon

you mean bike less for 3 months. not gonna get much riding in the winter.
bike looks really good. im thinkin' of pickin' up a double r this spring
Well freshman in college needs no house right now, so fun toys are the only toys!
I am stuck in school for 3 more weeks but I will still ride in the cold, just gotta wear some layers! If its your first bike I would suggest something a little smaller than the rr's to start. This thing has MORE than enough power, not sure it should be a starter bike...
I thought that ferrari came out with a new car
But, coming from a guy with no real interest in bikes, that looks f'in bad ass
I've always been partial to Akropovik. To each there own though. The only thing D&D is known for is volume.
Make your next set of tires Micheline Pilot Powers or at least something better than what's on there. You'll thank me, I promise.
That should dino at around 98HP, not a monster, but no slouch.
As far as best bikes go, they're all good, but I prefer Honda as well. They usually don't have the top power in their class, and they are ofetn out-handled by Yamaha BUT (big but), they are very stable considering their flickability and they are super reliable. Unless you are on a race track, all 4 of the big Japanese manufacturers are nearly equal in each class. You cannot really tell the difference 5 pounds and 2 hp make on the street.
Let me suggest some track days for you. You'll improve your skills big time, in a safe environment.
First bike eh? Nice pick. Personally I like the 600s. I ride with litre bikes all the time, the only place they are faster is the straights. I can carry more corner speed and they never really get away (much). I also despise the insurance rates on the litre bikes, it's disgusting.
A good running 600 in the right hands is a potent package. Besides if you learn on a 600 you'll learn faster. You cannot compensate for lack of skill by dumping mad throttle. You actually have to learn how to corner properly if you want to keep up. I see way too many people on litre bikes that have no skill at all. Not a fast rider? Buy a faster bike LOL... That'll get you killed if your not careful.
