Well, i still surf the .org, but im not really around much to begin with....
And im looking for a good website like the .org here for my silverado. Know of any?
Well, lets take a moment to remember the cavalier:
2000 Z24
And here's the new truck
2004 Silverado 2wd 4.8l v8
flowmaster exhaust already installed.
13,000 miles when picked up.
I love this truck so far.
ideas, opinions, comments welcome. I'll come up with more pictures soon i hope.
gm-trucks.com is your best bet....
the rest just suck...seriously the rest are very lack luster with low member counts...
Nice truck by the way I miss mine
Nice truck, how much did you pay if you dont mind me asking. I'm comming to the point I kind of need a truck.
performance trucks.net it's the affiliate of ls1tech. TONS TONS TONS of info there
very nice truck
Nice. Drop it.
I vote to remove the step bars though.
performancetrucks.net as stated or gmfullsize.com
as far as ideas, opinions or comments...
1. ditch the flowmasters
2. drop it
The best thing about these trucks is that the 5.3/6.0 are all DIRECT replacements. Its literally pull old motor out, put new one in. Wire harness is the same, ECU is the same, all of it. Only problem is that the 6.0 with eat the 4L60e alive.
If you have any specific questions just go ahead and shoot. I used to have one and I still hang around GMFS and performancetrucks. I sold mine to get a G6, when I should have sold it and got another one... live and learn I guess
Rabbit - the dealership gave me 4500 for my cav and 1000 for my 1996 Dodge Dakota... which didn't even run.
I had to tow it up there.
Walked away with a 2004 Silverado 2wd loaded with a v8 for 12,500.
I have the ORIGINAL P.O. and build sheet from GM from the first owner... who financed the truck for 28,888 including destination (if i read the paperwork correctly)
The dealer i got it from was asking $18,999...
so I think i got a damn good deal at $12,500
I would love to lower this thing, get a roll pan, the 20" SS Silverado wheels.
But im happy with the thing as it is. Im way happy with this compared to my cav.
although i do miss the cavalier.
that's exactly what i'm looking for.... most i've found are 4.3's though.
i'd love to find a 4.8 with a 5 speed. i tried to order a 07 classic rcsb with a 5.3 5 speed this summer and the dealer said a 5.3 couldn't couldn't be order with a manual.
performancetrucks.net is a good site
chip it.
Entertainment Defined.
sweet while stepside cuts down on alot of bedspace it does look damn cool, nice pick up

$29,000 for a single cab!?!?!??!?!
Sheesh. Somebody got owned on that "deal".
We have a 04 ext cab 2wd with the 4.8...... its a good truck but kinda blah on power.
but its what my parents wanted.
And stepsides pwn., drop that mofo
^^ yeah, thats not much of a deal for 29k. But I wouldn't expect much bargaining when somebody orders a truck built with certain options and such.
At least i got a good deal on it since it was technically used.
I've got more pics too that i'll try to post Friday.
