My lumina broke down the other day and it sounded like the timing chain had jumped a tooth so I pulled it apart. Sure enough my valve timing is off. The problem is that the alignment dowel is broken off the cam..... bad news. I spent most of the afternoon breaking drill bits trying to get what is left of the dowel out of the cam. Has this happened to anybody before or does anybody have any tips for me? And does anybody have a junk cam with a good dowel still in it?

Happened on my friends 95. I think he got new cams. I do not remeber exactly its been a while.
