so we got bout 3k for my fire and we will be getting more for my back later. so yesterday we went shopping for a new car for me in the range of 6-7k and search all over the surrounding cities. took us bout all day but we finally found one that i loved and talked the guy down to 6k for. it was an 01 grand prix gt 4 door. has bout 83k on it all mostly highway miles. car is so clean, fully loaded. pics will be up tuesday or wed after i pick up the car
im so excited. it rides so much better than the fire
Turbo it!!!
They sell kits that'll make it go 12's pretty easily.

hmm it seems to be missing one thing
i think you know what it is
very nice
are you getting the inevitable "P" envy yet? it will happen, it's just a matter of time

it's not how fast you go, it's how you get there that counts.

iv been over at clubgp but havent posted much, just reading and learning
over the summer hoping to get full slp exhaust, but thats all for now along with a s/c
CSC or SS kit?
both are on ZZP. CSC's just a centrifical supercharger. IMHO, dont go that route. they dont make wonderful poewr (about the same as a stock L67 when placed on a normal L36.) and they're NOISY with the cogged belts they use
the SS kit is a little more in depth. it includes a stock or ported M90 roots style supercharger, and a modified LIM for use with L36's. on L67's ('97-'03 blown 3800's) the LIM does not have injector holes, they're in the heads. in L36's (N/A engines of the same years) they're in the manifolds, and not the heads. so you see the probem when putting an L67 intake and blower on an L36. you dont have any injector holes! the SS kit fixes that, along with a few other things. however, be forwarned with the SS kit, you will need to do other things. the L36 runs a 9.5:1 compression. good for N/A power, but GTP's run 8.5:1 compression which makes them safe for the blower. with the higher compressino you're more likely to get a detonation, and subsequently, KR problem. (there's an "about KR" section on the ZZP web page). i would suggest headers, a GOOD intake, none of that warm air stuff, probably rockers (1.7's don tdo much, 1.8's are ok, 1.9's are the best if your'e sticking with a stock cam) and some other exhaust/tuning, fueling things. i think the SS kit comes with the 33# injectors too, instead of the 24#ish in the GT's.
anyway, if you need any help with anything, feel free to ask. i know a little about em

My dad has the same year and color GT, minus leather. It's had it's share of bugs, but I like it.
nice interior
RIP JESSE GERARD.....Youll always be in my thoughts and prayers...
i'm sorry to be the downer
but don't spend money on it, just drive it
a car is the biggest money pit you could ever have
in 10 years you'll think why in the hell did i do that
whenever someone sells a car, its always "highway miles"
but i like the car!!!

Then two wrongs make a roundhouse kick to the face.
intense-racing has alot of grand prix stuff and they hold the record for having the fastest supercahrger and turbo grand prix and sell pretty good stuff

no
no
and no
1st. INTENSE is infamous for sellnig under engineered parts that tend to wear and cause harm to the engine/tranny because of this. for example, defective 1.9 ratio rockers who's tips would grind at the rocker itself, throw aluminum shavings into the oil, clogged a hole, and caused the engine to spin a bearing. also, their now 3 time re-designed LSD which STILL blows up and causes catostrophic tranny failiures.
by fastest supercharged grand prix, do you mean M90, twin screw, ect? zoomer (ZZP) has a supercharged/turbo'ed GTP which ran a 9.94. i dont know what the fastest M90 car is, but im pretty sure it's a ZZP crew car runnin in the 10's. INTENSE has the blowzilla, a twin screw KB blown bonneville, in the 10's, but that's an H body, not a W body.
and no, the INTENSE turbo car ran a 9.64 last season at the end of the season, and has since broken and gone through major repair, though we may see a new run tonight. the current turbo record holder is the TTGT by stattama which ran a 9.01 just a couple weeks ago.

taht was only a couple weeks ago? i saw the vid and taht it was in norwalk but i didnt know when he did taht. its such an amzing car
heck yeah it is. he's had over 30 sub 10 second runs now... and it's a stock bottom end on the engine. had over 20 sub 10's with the same motor, then it spun a bearing. rebuilt, put in 26lbs, and ran a 9.01. almost makes me wanna go turbo
