Believe it or not, my car is worth almost 3k in the condition it's in.. it just looks bad because it's dirty as hell, and my camera blows.. The wheel tire combo ran me maybe $1300 or so, would have been over 2k for just anyone, getting @!#$ at cost ROOLZ!

Ok...this is just me...but isn't there quite a bit of wheel gap in the front?
I dunno...if you somehow drop the front, that would look killer...kinda rake it a little
Otherwise, nice Maro...like the wheels!

you must get those things at the wrong place because the AR torque thrusts i got for my mustang we didnt even pay 1300 for and we didnt get them at cost......
and if your car is just dirty, then why does it look like the whole passenger side is beat? like there are a couple dents by the door and it looks like the door is dented and/or not aligned or something
Shoulda spent that money on paint/bodywork.

yea tt2's or look alikes, look good on anychevy esp camaros but im a little biased

I bought them from my place of work. And they are not Torque Thrusts, they are Eagle 211's. That $1300 includes the cost of the tires.
The whole passenger side is not beat, there is a dent at the top of the fender, that's it. The door isn't mis-aligned, the molding is coming off though.
Yeah, the car needs painted, yeah it needs body work, but that's the only dent on the car. Someone want to give me 5 grand to do it? Didn't think so.
Besides, the rest of my money is going to go into making more power and getting that power to the ground. Paint and body work don't matter to me, that will come last. It could be 10 different colors with 500hp and I would drive it, looks aren't everything.
But believe me, it will all get done sooner or later.

Nice rims you just need to lower it a little..
Had to change sig because some dickhead is mad it went 1 letter over size

Yeah I know.. lol.
I need to get a different exhaust first..
It hangs up on the lifts where I work when I pull it in.. the exhaust is very low.. you should see how it looks from a distance, lol.

You dont care about the paint and body, but the wheels are important? I dont get it.
nice wheels man, they look like my dads old torque thrust 2's that he had on his s-10...

i keep it gully like im havin a old friend for lunch

Wider than stock, which means I can get more tire on the ground, which better improves traction and handling.

Damn the no edit thing..
And, the paint and body aren't that bad, atleast all of my body panels are matching colors, and the paint is still glossy, and one small dent isn't going to phase me any.

eagle 211's are the same thing as torque thrusts which is why i mentioned them
Ignore the hate. I'd save up for a 383 or something before paint as well... The car looks to be in good shape for an 83.
looks good man lets see some slips
maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow....... but some day
Kinda looks like the tires are backwards in the first picture but on further review they dont look directional anyway..

Nice care man, I like the wheels a lot. Probably something like i'll be going with some day on my camaro. I know what you mean about the exhaust. My cats hang down extremely low on the dual cat option the car came with. I'm going to be getting new exhaust soon. I want to do the Eibach lowering springs but I got a 91 so that front lip sets extremely low.
The second set of pictures you posted look 1000x better. Some people dont understand older cars like ours....specially black. My car looks like its worth about 500 bucks when its all dirty. Looks a ton better when its all clean. I know mine needs body work though.
Good job keep it up. What kinda engine work you got?

Wow, your the only person that actually understands the crap that I have to go through with this car.. lol.
I could trade you front lips, I want one like yours...
It doesn't have much work to the motor, it has a 305 that was bought as a long block from O'reilly's.
The guy that had the car before me did all of the work, but he did just some basic bolt ons.
K&N Filter
Edelbrock 600cfm Performer Series carb
Holley Street Dominator Intake
Flame Thrower distributor
Mild cam
Hedmann Headers
Hooker 3" cat-back, with no cats.
And a shift kit in the tranni (700r4)
It's not bad for a 305, but I was looking to do a 383 stroker this winter... that might be shot though. I think I might have to do a tranni first, so a T-56 is in mind right now. My plans were to just do a 383 this winter, but now I might shoot for the tranni, and painting the car myself, granted that I have the time since I daily drive the car.
BTW, I have seen your sig around on here a few times, and have drooled over your car everytime. I have a huge soft spot for Third Gens though.. lol.
1983 Camaro Z28
Thanks for the compliments. I drool over others cars all the time never thought mine would be one of those =P Its not really that great. I just take the pictures in the right spot to hide the blemishes lol. I'm just going to repaint the front lip. Actually in the next year the whole car is getting a repaint. I know a guy who does body work and i'll be in Korea for a year. So i'll be saving money plus I wont be driving the car. He's doing it as a favor/pocket change so in his spare time he's gonna prep it and paint it. Its gonna run me about 500+paint which isn't bad anyways but plus all the body work he's going to do and how well he does it is a steal. I have a good sized dent in the drivers rear 1/4. Which is why you always see pictures from the passanger side =P
I'm partial to the 3rd gens myself. I could have gotten a 4th gen LT1 and maybe even an LS1 if I would have looked hard enough and maybe held out. I just wanted a 3rd gen I new that from the start. After more searching I knew I wanted a 91/92 because they were the only ones to come with the lower front lip and rear spoiler. It also has the ground effect of the RS's had in some years where it has the brake vents. I just wish they didn't stop the Irco Z in those years. Cant have all though.
