dude, Volvo's have never slow cars. since these 740's the upper model Volvo's have been turbo'd beasts. as a kid my mom had a 740 turbo like the one in the video, a s70 t-5 (240 hp stock) and she drives around the s60r now. Volvo's can be great sleeper cars. i remember just beating the crap out of mustang gt's with the s70 with just an IPD chip.
Anyways, here is why i love Volvo so much. its my 1964 volvo 122 with a custom 4 link in the rear, and a whole bunch of ipd crap.
00 cavalier (5 speed, 2200) 84 chevy c-10 (v-8, 400 hp) 64 volvo 122 ( everything......)
