well i sold the cav/fire a couple weeks ago for $1100 and just got a new toy...a 2006 Chevy Colorado Z71 and i'm loving it...yes the car was fun to drive but this thing gets better gas mileage plus i realized off roading is fun too...lol...check it out and sign the guestbook to my cardomain site....enjoy and i'll be still looking at whats going on in the J world..u guys were a big help to me and inspired me to actually customize a vehicle to ur own taste...Thanks

had too many mods to the engine to keep the car "fuel friendly" so sold it to get something i could afford the gas in and plus haul to junk around..car was getting around 19-22mpg and this truck gets 25-26mpg

damn, i saw Z71 and assumed silverado. my buddy's silverado is lucky to get 15mpg....now it all makes sense.

How are you getting 25-26 in that? Do you do all highway driving @ 55mph? My dads non-z 4x4 gets around 23 on the highway and 19-20ish in the city....22 mixed.
With the Z71 package most people get around 18 city and 22 hwy.
Edit: After looking at the new pics...you need to invest in some mud terrains...lol. I know I love mine!

Just becaus it's rated at that doesn't mean it gets it. I used to have people coming in complaining about their gas milage with those things all the time. They are better than the dodge dakota though.

hey geeds...ever hear of any1 having a kit out yet for a v8 swap in the coly's...seen a video of a crew cab zq8 with a ls2 in it...wow...i need that...and for tires i'm not sure what i'm gonna get...i want something that will keep road noise to the least possible level..but if i do get some they'll be 31"

Road noise with my Kumho M/T's is about the same as it was with the BFG A/T's.
