Sold the Fire, bought a Grand Prix

I will still roam the sight as my wifes car is a 03 Cav LS Sport. Traded in my 02 Sunfire GT for a 05 Pontiac Grand Prix. The dealer threw in a remote start and the windows get tinted on Thursday. Had to do it because putting a child in the back seat of a coupe is not easy... I am impressed with the car and it has quite the punch when you get on it, alot quicker than my Sunfire! Anyways just thought I would share my good fortune...

I picked up a 04 GTP yesturday. Congrats. Same reason for me we have a second baby coming and Cav is not cutting it other than the minor problem i am having. The GTP is just sweet just can't push on the gas pedal like my cavalier tire chirp really easy.

yea, the car is alot roomier. the swooping rear door openings makes putting a child in the car seat a little tricky at first. it really has alot more power than the ecotec as far as torque goes. i just had my studded tires installed today so i am all ready for winter. the roads are fun in alaska sometimes and i always love having studs when the the town becomes icy. i get my autostart installed in a few days and that will be nice when it gets really cold out. (-10F or colder). kinda feels strange driving a bigger car after all these years. but after shifting for myself since i was 14 i am really liking the auto tranny.

They gave my $4500 for my 99 Z24 but i also have less than 70K on that car in 7 years.
Small downpayment. I got my GTP for about $10,000. Fully loaded every option is on it. (moon roof leather, shifter paddles, monsson 6 disk changer, HUD, etc..)

I would recommend the 04+ the drive a lot better than the 97-03 but i know i prefer the looks of the older generation. It is so easy get the tires to chirp, i have to take it easy. These have 20HP the the previous generation GTP.
