looks awesome

BUT

I want to see some light cut-off pics on a wall. a nice set of projectors sounds
great, but they're more useless than underpants in July if they don't line up, or
if they blind oncoming traffic.

^^^ ill ask him to provide some. he had a 4000K bulb, and also a 4300K bulb hooked up. he had grabbed the wrong one from his house. he wanted to make sure he had them perfect prior to having any wall pix of them on the net. the 4300K has just a tad bit more purplish color to it. they are extremely nice. very very wide beam as we were test driving! we're thinking about making a short video going around the neighborhood to show the light output.

thanks everyone for your support!!!!!

I can't wait to see that. I have a 5400k HID Bi-Xenon setup, but my projectors
were a kit.... not too many folks out there were brave enough to take the 6054
headlight challenge. I noticed you build allot of conventional bulb setups.

Do you get allot of requests for HID projector setups?.. Can your conventional
bulb setups be swapped to an HID bulb in the future? If so, I may have a
project for you in the spring.

Also, where the heck can I get an H3 HID kit where the HID H3 bulbs actually
look like H3 bulbs (not rebased ds2's that won't fit a fog light housing)

AWESOME! Man I need to get some money together already.

here are only two pictures he has sent me from his house. you can clearly see the blue going all the way across the cut. in case you dont know, the blue usually only stays within the drop of the cut....usually.

fantastic color out of 4000K bulbs!

there is a wall down a couple blocks from my house that i want to take picture of. it is huge!
due to our schedules, he is only able to come over on saturdays. ill be sure to take a picture then.
oh, ill ask him to bring a vid camera if he has one. perhaps we'll both be in it. LOL

urban: i hardly ever do halogens anymore. i try to convince customers that they will be sorry for not going HID. LOL. but it is still their decision in the end.
as for the halogen to HID, i have found that HELLA makes a good priced halogen projector that HID's look great in. they arn't TSX's, but you save quite a bit of money and can upgrade when ready with the funds.

aw, sorry bud. all i got for H3's for my HID kits are these:

BUT, i have ran into some like 2 days ago. ill do a bit of research to find them again, and ill let you know.

thanks fellas!!!!!!!

I don't throw compliments around freely, but I love the work.
Those cutoffs speak for themselves. BTW. drop me a line if
you track down an H3 HID kit that uses standard H3 bulbs;
I'm running 5400k bulbs out of a Cadillac SRX so I need the
output to match.
