93 thunderbird probs, please help

my room mate has a 93 thunderbird w/ automatic seatbelts, power everything, and this thing has some ****ing gremlins somewhere, i was wondering if any of u guys had ever experienced this stuff before:

when he got it, the headlights would just cut out : turns out thats a recall, got that fixed.

soon after that tho, @!#$ hit the fan. now his power windows wont work, im thinking that its the driver's side switch, they all worked when he got it, and all crapped out at once, but we're still open to opinions.

next, he had a factory radio in there that worked just fine, and then he got the apline HU out of my escort and put it in there, 2 days later, the cd player was fried and wouldnt play, we sent it off to be fixed, and when it got back, it still wouldnt play, . no radio.

his seatbelt light stays on all the time, his seatbelt is in the "engaged" position i guess u'd call it, it stays back like it should when u turn the car on, but the light stays on and from time to time the buzzer sounds, and wont quit unless u open the door and slam it, then it only quits for about 10-15 seconds at a time.

every time u use any electrical feature, the voltmeter spikes to about 18 volts, then drops down to 0, then back to around 14 or so. this sumbitch is a disaster help please

thanks

Wow, electrical nightmare. I HATE electrical messes.

For the windows, chech the fuses, if they all went at once, it would have to be a fuse. The head-unit, try another head-unit. If that doesn't work, use a test light and check the constant power and accessory wires to see if they have power, and check the ground for a connection as well, and again, check the fuse for the radio, could have popped.

The seatbelt thing, I have no clue about those.

I would maybe take a close look at the circuits relating to the problem areas. It could be possible he's got some damaged or chaffing wires? Maybe a bad ground somewhere? Maybe there could be a small water leak someplace that it's wetting the wiring causing the gremlins to come out?

You could check the motor or switch that engages the seatbelt? Maybe the computer is bad?
