I tried asking this on s10forum.com twice and got no answer, so maybe someone who owns a Blazer or Jimmy can help. Whenever I drive my Parking Brake Light and ABS light will turn on on my dash, usually after a few minutes of driving. I took it to get fixed (warranty) and they said they fixed it but the same day it happend again. The place is very far so I'd like to fix it myself. Anyone know what it could be? They said the plugs were dirty and cleaned em, so that must not be the case. This is annoying the crap outta me!
The red brake light always turns on with the abs light. Without a scanner, there is no way to properly diagnose the light. It could be a number of things, such as a wheel speed sensor.
like ^ he said, get it scanned, but it's more than likely a speed sensor
If I take it to AutoZone can they scan it and tell me what it is? Because w/e it is I can have it replaced for free at the dealership, but its about an hour ride just to get there.
To my knowledge all aftermarket scanners can check are for check engine lights. I don't believe they can pull codes for other modules (abs, bcm, etc.)
hmm..
anyone know how much a speed sensor is?
