a friend of mine has a black one. there def a nice looking SUV and they have no proplem geting up to speed. i would get some nicer rims for it and the clear bar lights for the front makes it look so much nicer.
yeah my plans or to lower it 2 inch in the front 4 in the rear , 20 inch rims, cleared out turn signals, billet grill inserts, blacked out taillights. and when i'm done with that . i will buy thw mach performance turbo or supercharger kit . i'm not sure what one to get yet .
i always liked the looks but was never a huge fan of the 4.3
dont bother with that kid he is a tool. the 4.3 motor is one of the best motors i have seen so many of them with well over 145K on them and no proplems. my friends got one in his truck 234K and it just burns a little oil a puff of blew smoke comes out the muffler on start up. but its all original the motor. the only motor that was in the blazers that where not that great where the 2.8 motor. i have the motor in my plow truck to do the driveway in the winter.
That is one clean blazer! 'm thinking about getting an earlier blazer or s-10 with a V8 already swapped in. Then all I have to do is get the AWD drive train components

your a moron its a 4.3 OHV motor meaning no hp all torque. the put out 250 torque and 190 hp and get 16 miles city. thats not bad at all for that motor. if all you can do it wine about gas miles go by a damn geo metro with the 3 banger and get 90 mpg
My brother gets about 21 in his 99 blazer w/ the 4.3....its ALOT more efficient than his old 2.8 liter in his 89 blazer

last time i checked 16mpg city is @!#$ty
a lot of v8's get better mileage, or just as good
i didnt realize that in order to be considered smart or to not get you to be an @!#$ to me i had to think everything by gm was handed down by god. For six cylinders, the 4.3 does in fact get crappy gas mileage. Just because im not a huge fan of a certain motor doesnt make me a @!#$ ass. but thanks for tryin.
what kinda websites can yall lead me to for this truck ? i know where to get the supercharger kit from . any other help is greatly appreciated.

agreed, if u dont like the motor then dont comment on it. and do u really expect a truck to get good gas mileage?
at any rate, who gives a @!#$ about gas mileage, your not filling the tank.
and i got 20 mpg over the last two days 20$ at 3.12 a gal 6.41gallons got me 133 miles (low gas light to low gas light) 20.7 mpg so its not as bad as you think. and its a 4x4 extended cab so u can add 400-500 lbs over a 2wd
a 4.3 v6 is just a 350 sbc without two cylinders
