wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy overpriced.....
My friend bought a '97 GS, same options but manual transmission. Around the same mileage but he paid $5000.
Sorry bout the double post. For @!#$s and giggles, i went to KBB and it gave me a price of $8,680 for it's options and stuff. How much longer does that engine life have on it at 91k miles?
How low do you think i'd be able to talk them down in price?
well let me tell u this, i bought an 01 eclipse GS spyder, for 8500.......... thats why i said its overpriced...
there are quite a few threads regarding cars of this variety. Search around the Other Cars forum and see what you can turn up.
My friend has a '97 GS that he got with around 100k miles, all the same options minus the leather and a manual instead of auto. He paid $4000 for it and it's still going strong at 120k miles. You can find one for cheaper, much cheaper.

Around here it's hard for me to find good deals on cars because of the area that i live in. I drove it today and the only thing that i noticed was when it got to 3k RPM there was a whistle/whinning noise coming from the belt area.
I decided to not go with the eclipse. Thanks for your guys help. Helped me out.

my friends brother is selling his GS-T with a new semi built engine and tranny for 6500.
I'll be waiting till spring of next year to get a new vehilce. by then i'll be 21 and my accident will be off my record therefore my insurance will be dropping a lot.
Right now 2006 Cobalt with full coverage and $500 deductables = $14xx every 6 months
After December = $705 every 6 months
i'll wait
