#1 - Vw's are a tool of the devil
#2 - low ego emmisions is an ad campain for the new passat
#3 - Vw sucks
that is all
BTW my old beater would own your beater.....
1986 VW Jetta I got for 2 breakfast burritos form Mc Donalds
What is it? A rabbit diesel?
I don't even want to post pictures of our, now sold and probably blown up, beater. lol.
89' tercel.
i wanted a diesel dub, until i saw what's going to happen to diesel fuel soon. prices are going to skyrocket for that ish.

you know, i love when people like to criticize others about their behavior,
but turn around and do the same freaking thing months later...

On an older car like that..@!#$ run bio diesel...Or make your own...
If gas prices keep going the way they are, im going to be looking into the Diesel Jeeps that have rumored to be coming over seas to us...and buying a Bio Diesel kit from freedomfuelamerica.com
May cost me 3000 upfront, but when gas prices hit 4 bucks a gallon, and im driving around on 70 cents a gallon..it wont bother me a bit...
prices will skyrocket...but by the time i'll be really concerned, i'll have a bike. low fuel consumption FTW.

although ill be riding my bike alot, Bio Diesel Wins over a bike in MPG X Price.
Say your bike gets 70mpg and my jeep gets 30 and pump gas is @ a price of 4.00 a gallon.
700 Miles will cost you 40 dollars.
900 Miles will cost me running the bio diesel 20-21 dollars dollars.
Either way, back on topic, Dennis, its a nice little car. alot of people use them for rallys to start out and learn. So they do make a nice little rally car. Have fun with it, and hey if you get the chance, check out some biodiesel, it might just save ya a few bucks..
If it has low ego emmissions, then why did you brag about it?
I wrote this post a long time ago, a real long time ago, back in 94.
Here's my old beater. I miss this car. It took the ski trails around my school better than most of the trucks did.
^^ is that an xfi? I was looking for a geo metro xfi originally because I could not find a good rabbit diesel. They get 55 mpg highway!! Isnt it weird that a car with absolutely no cool factor can be so fun?
My pictures are far more flattering than it is in real life. Theres rust all around the windshield so that when it rains it pours on my fuse block, isnt that cool!
There is very little ego involved with driving a 22 year old smoking diesel with no ac, nearly flat paint, and a kill your tv sticker on the back. Before I was engaged I liked to take it on dates to weed out the gold diggers(not that I have money but some girls are like that). They wont ride in a car like this.

w3rd
when I get back to the states and get my next duty station I want to get a house with a shed in the back so I can do that. get my wife a 4dr golf deisel, myself a deisel pickup, and only put gasoline in the project cars.
and from what I have reseached, once the kit itself has paid for itself, the cost is more like .30-.35 depending on how much you make at once.
once the kit has paid for itself, I see myself as having ALOT more cash on hand not paying 2.90/gal or whatever price it has skyrocketed to by time I come back

when you beat someone in a civic people wine and make excuses
when you beat someone in a cavalier they pull over and check under thier hoods
double post......
I don't know everything about it but from what I have heard by a colledge student, apparently a byproduct of turning grease into deisel is nitroglyserine. with to much of that stuff I am bound to get myself in trouble. how would one go about disposing of that stuff

No, it was the LSI version. The "Luxury" metro

I seriously miss how simple that car was. There was no computer for it...the most high tech thing in the car was my stereo that I had in it. Such a pimp car. And I do miss the gas milage on it.
You cant go wrong with a geo right about now. ill take 55 MPG over my 26 on midgrade
The byproduct of the Biodiesel process is Glycerin which is used to make soap. I'm also pretty sure it wont explode.

Awesome. My dad got an 81 Rabbit diesel for oil/biodiesel experimenting. It's a total POS so I don't have pics
