Okay many of you know that I am in the market for a new/used car. I have been looking at 03/04 Cobra verts. This weekend I went to look at an 03 cobra and sitting next to it was a 2000 SS 6spd,vert, black on black camaro with 55,000 miles on it. Just for S***s and giggles I asked the sales man how much and he said $14000 tax and title and plates. Do you guys/gals think its a good deal? Im starting to flirt with the idea of picking up the SS instead of the Cobra. The camaro is $10,000 cheaper than the cobra as well. What to do. I love both cars...what do you think is the best thing to do? Thanks for the input.

I'm definitely more of a Mustang guy, but I say go for the SS. That's a very large price difference, and the Mustang just isn't worth spending that much more (although the supercharger whine is definitely sexy as hell).
or you could get a regular mustang and just supercharge it
both are nice cars but the camaro is alot nicer looking i would go for the SS
$10k you could get a s/c, heads, cam, headers
Go w/ the camaro

Get the camaro. Thats a big price difference and you can easily make the camaro faster for less then the cost of the cobra, if thats what your looking for.
get the ss stangs are a dime a dozen

get the camaro, throw a 12 bolt on it, 100 shot, and boltons. that will be more than enough to go 11.50's on a decent tire

Blew it up, build numbers coming soon
SS all the way man i am a GM fan my self
Damn I think thats a pretty good price for that ss. I would be all over it. The LS1 is a great engine. And cruising in 6th on the highway is great on gas.
SS hands down.

I will keep everyone posted on what I can do. Hopefully I have a new ride before summer ends.

I didn't think anyone would go for the Mustang.
Yeah, for the money you can't beat a SS.
