Newbie here

Well I hope I'm on the right site. I've got a s10 Blazer but all I see is cavilers on here. But here's what I've got. Just looking around for a local truck club that I may be able to be a part of. Here's a few pics of mine.

That's my son Aidan. I'm not looking for answers. I'm looking for some where to hang out. Believe it or not your front seat's fit nicely in my blazer and so do your newer model dashes. Well I've got a 2.8 gm good wrench v6 with auto trans and true dual exhaust. I've got a wing on there as you can tell. My insides are stock for now. I've planned on doing a v8 conversion soon. I'm running a 3.73 olds bravada posi traction rear end. I still have to get a roll pan and I just finished makeing my hood a suicide hood. I have more I'll be doing sometime when money is here for it. But maybe I can help some of ya with your rides too. I've worked on cars for a long time and I can be creative.

for starters
lose the wing
and put the factory tails back on
and then find a bumper

I'm keeping the wing and I do not use a rear bumper. I will be using a weld in roll pan and a set of caddy tailghts in place of my eruo's. I'm no where near being done with it and won't be for a long time.

ok roll pan is good
caddy tails are better than those things
the wing is just really @!#$ stupid

Oh I forgot I've had those tails on for over 4 years. They've been on two trucks. Look the wing stays. There isn't a thing wrong with it. The point of customizing your ride is so it doesn't look like everyone elses. I wanted a texas tail but didn't have enough money. Where I live no one has it and I like it. I didn't ask for an opinon I was just showing my ride. I get this crud on other sites and I still have it. I know plenty of people who like it so it's staying. Sorry dude.

develop a tough skin
you show pics people will show you their opinions

I don't mind that. But I didn't rememer asking for them. I was just showing my ride. I'm gonna paint the wing to match when I decide on the color. But it's no where near being done. I've had the wing for over 2 years so it's not a big deal to me. I've heard worse things.

They always been reliable for me. But I'm hoping to put in a 4.3 or a 350 or a 305 I have. Just not sure money wise.

It's way too high, if you're gonna keep it, get LOW.

Something like that^

Well mine will end up hopefully with a 350 and 4 barrel carb and a 700r4 trans. And I already planned on going lower. I need to get some new shocks and some 3" drop springs to give me a 5" drop in the front and then I'm gonna mono leaf the rear. But I need new shocks first. I want bags but I don't want to cut the inside up since I do carry my kids with me. But I might be putting in a c-notch soon too. I just have to wait till the money is there and I still have alot of body work left too. On ssi it's not that easy.
