Nice price.. those are decent cars when modded.... stock they are dogs but then again what car isnt from the factory thats priced in our affordable range heh...

my buddy has a nitrous built one that puts down like 440 on NA and then they have a 200 shot but now they are doing a single turbo kit for it...

good luck and enjoy

Guy who has currently owns it ran 14.2's on those tires (2.1 60's)....theres something to be improve a little there. He said better tires should net a 13.9....just could hook with those.

X pipe and headers should put it solidly in the 13's....and that'll probably be it for a while. It got some small things here in there to fix that I'd want to take care of first....and the bodywork/paint.

ummmm... unless it's got some major weight reduction, it's not gonna run a 14.2. maybe a 14.8, but with stock headers/heads/intake, it'l be hard to get it into the low 14's

it's not how fast you go, it's how you get there that counts.

crap! i did, however, forget to say awesome find, though. i would LOVE a 5spd fox. no matter what times it runs, that thing looks good, and it'll be fun as hell to drive

It's got a cam. I thought he would have had better times. I knew a guy that ran 14.0 with just exhaust, intake, and pullies on a 92.

Luke, we'll have to meet up. I'm home on leave. I'm joining the Stang club too, but mines just a hair faster . Pics will come as soon as I get it.

O noes!

i've got a friend, cam'd, headers, CAI, some ignition stuff, stuck in the high 14's. and another friend with just a cam right around 14.8. so i dunno. just goin by what i've seen. no matter what, though, they're fun cars.

just curious smokey, by intake do you mean manifold or CAI, because i've noticed stang guys specify if it's a cold air, and usually when they say intake, they mean the manifold.

ummm...it ran a 14.2-14.4 consistantly. I was there and saw it with my own two eyes! That is also why I put "runs pretty damn strong" in my first post cause that exactly what it does. Maybe your frind just sucks a driving. It's impossible to compare 2 cars without knowing all variables.

pretty good deal

friend of mine had a saleen , and it ran high 12's , with a pretty mild motor i think his cam was the B303 might have been E , its been a while , cam has a nice lope to it , he had equal length headers and full exhaust , and 3:73's , he liked playing on the freeway more than the strip

nice color too

ok ok, point taken. though that's still runnin strong for a fox with those mods. im sure you'll have fun with it. as i said, fox's kick ass. and there're very few engines that sound better than ford 5.0L's

nice pick up
mine is slow
probably because we cant get it tuned properly to save our lives
so we gotta find some place that will make it run 100%

Intake I mean a cold air intake. Stock manifolds. The car was mint and low miles, I'm sure that helped it.

With my buddies 02 GT 5 speedI ran a 14.4 with it with a 2.2 60 foot. I know that it should pull a 2.0 at least, cuz I was pretty cherry driving his. I know the 5.0 has less power, but it also has a lot less weight too.

Sorry to thread jack, but I entered the dark side tonight. Bought a 99 Cobra, Electric Green. Came with JLT intake, Steeda pullies, NX wet kit (just installed), MGW shifter, Magnaflow cat back and catted x-pipe, and BFG' DR's on the back, X-Cal 2. 69K miles on the clock. It's mint as can be, only a bad seat belt on the passenger seat.

Pictures to come.

O noes!
