I've seen performance figures for the supercharged SS and 145hp regular Cobalt. I havent seen any acceleration figures for 171hp Cobalt SS. Anyone know these stats?

i would guess it would be in between the 2
About the same as your Ecotec or Z24 (in some cases if not slower). Mid to high 15s

The 2.4 puts about 145hp/125ft-lbs to the ground, and runs mid to low 15s. High 14's arent uncommon (like 14.99999
). Once the aftermarket for that motor picks up though, they will be quite beastly.

My saturn pulls pretty nice for being an automatic 4-door. It's definitely faster than my sisters 3800 impala if that helps.

Are you sure?? The 3800 is a pretty good motor. Actually I completely doubt that it's faster than anything with a 3800.
My old friends 02' GTP barely walked away from my old 04 auto ls coupe at 80 mph. Now below say 65 that would be a VERY different story. So I'd say given that most of the 200 horse 3800's are attached 2 3500lb cars that a race (especially the closer you get to highway speeds) it would be very close.
The 3800 just isn't a high end breather.

My guess is low to mid 15's if it comes with a stick. The 2.4 has a good torque curve for a 4 cylinder as well so that should help.
