first off i'd like to say THIS IS NOT MY CAR, it belongs to the neighbor of my friend.
you see how the chevy bowtie is red, but the Z28 right next to it is black (can hardly see but you know its there) as well as the fender emblems are black Z28s without the bowtie. i have a black Z28 just like this and i need to replace my back emblems
alright, heres my question... should i go ahead and leave the bowtie red? or paint it black to go with the rest of the emblems? i'm not exactly going for the "blackout" look, i'd like to keep the stock look on the outside. do you think the red sticks out too much? or its just better to keep it how its meant to be? thats all, just asking your opinions on red vs black
thanks
and heres mine just to share
and yes i know...very picky question but i thought i'd ask for opinions anyway
either or
i dont think looks bad like it is
hmm i was expecting some more opinions lol not that hard
to be honest i wouldnt notice either way.
I think I'd paint the Z28 red to match or take all of them off. You should either be able to see them or not. IMO
keep it stock.
what kind of rims does he have? TT2's?

it's not how fast you go, it's how you get there that counts.

personally id leave all the emblems off
i never understood the black emblems on a black car , lol other than letting some idiot know when its to late
I'd shave all that stuff off. Badges are overrated. I'm a clean freak though.
So I guess I would say NAY.

Personally I like the blacked out look. My buddy did it with his VR4. His car is black and he picked up all the JDM emblems and painted them all flat charcoal grey. Looks decent IMO. I thought about the same thing with my badges but after I took them off to paint them I decided to leave the car nekked.
i like badges. they let people know what i've got. though mine's just a grand prix, so they dont think twice anyway... until it's too late. then they get curious

yea i would like to have them just to show off that its a Z and now just a regular camaro, but then again i'd like it to be hidden to where you can't see it, but just get the feeling that you know its there. i guess thats kinda like having them and not having them on at the same time lol
yeah, i guess i dont mind badges as much just because no one thinks my car's worth a plug nickle.
you could always just cut "Z 28" in the rear pannel, fill it with tinted clear plastic (oxymoron anyone?) and put a light behind it! that way you could race them with it off, and after you pass them, flip the "Z 28" on! they'll be like, "whoa, man, didnt see that before!"
im shutting up now, i've slep 8 hours in the past 64 hours, 3 of which were in the past 36. i need a new job
