i just went and looked at the new rabbit from VW and i love it! its really smooth and ive always wanted a euro, has anyone test drove it? how much "umpf" does the 2.5 have? also does anyone have pics of one modded?

i would imagin that it would put the rabit somewhere in the 16's for 1/4 mile time if thats what your looking for
It's nothing new all they did is change the name of the Golf to Rabbit.

it is new, since there was no golf on the new platform
its the GTI without the 2.0t and with the 2.5 and also available in 4 door which i thought looks a little better to me
its another car on the list for me to look at when i can afford and need a new car

Wrong, there was a Golf on that platform sold in Europe. It never made it to the US so now it will just appear as the Rabbit.

My Grandpa had one the old ones. It was this weird lime green color. He still talks about it from time to time between babbling about everything else.

1.the rabbit is totaly differnt than the golf, if im not mestakened i think the rabbit is smaller than the golf,
2.the rabbit is to GTI like 95 cavalier is to 95 Z24, there the same car but one has a little more exterior options
3.the little rabbit on the back is cool lol
4.the commercial is AWESOME!
5.IMO tq is speed, HP is bragging rights
