So when's it going in the Vette?
question is, will the s/c bolt up to previous lsx motors?
i want better pics like whole engine in a pic and from a little higher up
on the forum where I first saw those pics (which have now been removed) everyone agreed it was NOT for a vette. The person who had taken the pics was confused, there was another engine around the corner that was most likely the LS9.
The consensus seemed to be that it was for a truck/suv (SSS or escalade-v possibly?) and that THAT engine picture was not 650hp (obviously, cant top the vette which will have the 650 motor) and that it was atleast over 500hp. It has the truck throttle body, the truck manifolds AND a flexplate instead of a flywheel. On top of that, that motor is too big to fit in a vette, just look at it.
However, I personally could see this engine in other vehicles, such as camaro or GTO, but there is no way that is the vette motor IMO.

I don't believe it is a Vette motor either which I was careful not to say Corvette SS engine.
Late last year, I saw a GM computer rendition of this engine and it was very similar to this.
But basically you are looking at 95% of what will be in the Corvette SS "sting-ray" aka LS9.

yeah it will definetly basically look like that motor, but the one in this thread is not for a vette. I'd hope its for an SSS
well i say that motor isnt for a Z06 or sting ray
that motor will be or was bolted up to a AUTOMATIC TRANS , so my guess its going in a truck or camaro
that and the fact the exhaust manifolds like identical to the trucks
and call me crazy , but are the runners part of the head's ???

I dont know about that LS7 clutch. It barely holds the 505 from the zo6 so I dont think its too great of an upgrade unless you dont plan on making too much power w/ your car.
