Just thought I would update you guys with pictures of the Wrangler and some of the new stuff I picked up the past months.

Skid Row Engine Skid

Before:

After:

Skid Row Steering Box Skid

Before:

After:

Rockcrusher Dana30 Differential Guard

Before:

After:

Rock-It Man Ultimate Rocker Guards

Safari Gard Front Bumper

I have also been working with my buddy to build up his Nissan 240sx coupe. I thought I would load some pictures up to show everyone the process we have been making. We are currently waiting for the new clutch and oil pan to arrive before we start proceeding with getting the motor into the engine bay but until then we just have been prepping everything so that the install will go off with little problems.

A picture of it before putting it under the knife:

Updgraded exhaust manifold:

mmmmm, sr20det of goodness

As always, comments, suggestions and harassments are welcomed .

Thanks for looking.

Have a good one,
Justin

I'm about to buy a 240, just to upgrade it a tad, and sell it to one of the new "drift enthusiasts" for a premium! Muahahahaha

Cool vehicles though! I'm gunna mess with the KA if I get mine here soon!

That will be later on in the year. The original KA ended up taking a dump and made a quick decision to pick up the SR. S13 Silvia front ends on coupes are sooooo nice.

When my friends KA was running, it was surprisingly quick for what it was. We also welded the spider gears in the rear for a little extra fun Good luck on picking up a 240, once the new F&F movie comes up, those cars will be marked up like crazy.

Jeep looks great. How hard was it to install the engine and steering skids.

Its not all that bad in a 1g. If it were a 2g thats a different story.... well it depends on which Gen SR20 you get.

sr20 installs are simple. they use the same mounts and everything. its as simple as swapping motors and splicing wires to make it run. also when you get the sr in it you can buy any kind of intercooler kit for the sr as its the same damn car its just marked as a 180sx in jap.....so yea its pretty easy but like stated above ka-t>sr20

and yes once the f3f3 comes out these will go up like crazy....im guessing anywhere from 3K-5K for ones that you can buy now for like 2K....i mean sh!t i bought mine for 1K with a cooling problem and a miss at idle and dropped 170 into it and runs perfect. plus my new hatch and stuff, so i think ive put a total of maybe 1300 into it so far and can prolly sell it for 2-3K cause it has low miles....

But looks nice bro!!

Depending on the year of the 240sx, some things will come easier than others. Since the one I am working on is an '89, the power steering and lines had to be switched over to the drivers side along with getting a new gauge cluster out of a newer '91-'94 240sx. Other than that, the heater lines had to be turned to face the passenger side and splicing / extending wires.

The other problem (if you even want to bother with it) is the A/C compressor from the SOHC engine will not bolt up to the SR20DET A/C bracket without a custom adapter. He didn't want air conditioning anyways, so that was one less problem we had to deal with.

The steering box skid was really easy. All I had to do was drill one one under the bumper and they supplied the self tapping screw. The other two bolts that are holding it on there is a bumper bolt and the lower bolt to the steering box.

The engine skid wasn't too bad either, it was just hard to do it by yourself (which I did). Also, on the 2003+ Wranglers, you have to drill three holes into the transfer case skid to bolt it on. On 2002 and below, they come with a metal plate with a lip you simply just slid on the skid and bolt down, no drilling required.

Thanks everyone for the compliments and once we start getting the rest of the parts in, i'll be sure to update you on the progress of the 240.

Have a good one,
Justin
