Looking for a cheap Jeep wrangler

Hey does anyone have any friends that are selling a jeep wrangler. I am looking for something under $5000 with a manual transmission and the 4.0 six cylinder engine. I am located in delaware but I can travel to go check out prospective jeep's. Thanks for all the help everyone, im just looking for a fun summer car. O yeah I still have my stock hood, intake, exhaust and suspension from my old z24 if anyone is looking for something

Damn, if you wouldn't mind dealing with an automatic, my friend is actually selling his 1991 Jeep Wrangler YJ. It is in great shape for the year it is and has around 110,000 miles on the odometer. I was originally going to buy it for a trail beater but I decided not to.

It has:
-4" Rustys Off-Road lift
-1" Lift Shackles
-33x12.50 Mud Terrains
-Lock-rite Locker in the rear.

He is asking around $4500 for it. It is definitely a nice pick up whoever gets it. He rarely wheels the thing too.

Have a good one,
Justin

Do you have any plans on off-roading it? A lot of the times I wish I would of settled with an automatic. They are so much easier to deal with on trail runs and rock climbing, but whatever floats your boat. Like Geeds said, do autotrader or go onto local Jeep Forums to find deals.

My camaro is manual and my wifes explorer is auto. I love having my manual because its so much funner driving, but I also love that auto. Sometimes I dont feel like driving so an auto just makes it much easier and able to deal with HAVING to drive. Plus I cant see ever owning a truck or SUV thats a manual. In my opinion I always felt like a sports car should be a manual and a truck/suv should be an auto.

yeah I bought my jeep an auto. #1 reason; I can hang my foot out where the door goes with out having to worry about a clutch. #2 cant use the clutch barefoot as well. #3 Auto's give you the power when you need it while climbing rocks and such with out having to try and find the right gear and all.

Cav was an auto (great for having bags), Civic was a stick (great for having fun and wanting to drive hard), Jeep is an auto (couldn't be happier!)

Those are the best reasons to own an auto jeep (especialy the hanging the foot out the door). I wanted a stick but after reading many jeep forums and how many with sticks wish they now had an auto I am happy with my choice. That and the fact I would have to teach the wife how to drive it is another big deciding factor.
