I know it is a 4T65E but I am not sure what car it came from.

Can anyone run the numbers on this?

My friend claims it came from VIN 1g2ne52e0xm713999 but that is a Grand AM and I thought those didn't have a 4T65E?

Someone told me it came from a 2002 Grand Prix from the tag but I am not sure why one of my friends would give me the wrong VIN unless he got confused.

if that is the VIN stamped into the case its from a grand am , and its a 4t60e


also its not a 02 by that VIN either , its 99 or older



the VIN is in the lip of the case where it bolts to the motor , near where the radiator would be , atleast i think that is where its susposed to be

Yes, the VIN is from a 1999 Grand AM with 3.4L. But, the trans is a 60's series. I thought Grand AM's never had the 60

even the earlier body grand am had the 4t60 behind the 2.4 , lol


so for sure that VIN is the 1 on the trans , if so that is what it is out of


the trans is for SURE not a 4t40e or 4t45e
