post em...good an bad ...pro's con's....im lookin for a awd sedan or like wise vehicle....a low cost one.....this one looks nice has a nice interior an is cheap....whatcha people think
It's uglier than the Magnum and they seem to be having a problem selling it to the younger than 60 generations since an article I read in one of the local papers stated that more than half the buyers were 55+yrs old.
Also the commercial seems to be a bit misleading as well, It sounds like the rumble of a v8 when the car drives by the camera yet we all know that it's only a I-4.
i dont think its that ugly.... and im just lookin for a car that i can "fit in" (i dont want a lil compact car)
and i dont care what it sounds like...hell...ill be happy to have the 4cyl...that means less money at the pumps....
I looks like it got raped by a Malibu Maxx and a Vibe.

I still say it looks like "Honey, I shrunk the Magnum", but whatever, I actually like the Magnum. But I really like the Caliber SRT version that's coming out but other than that I'm still undecided. If they did the SRT with the AWD I heard they're offering for the non-SRTs, I'd dump the idea of getting a GVR4 and get the Caliber in a nanosecond.
well i like the magnum but i dont want a big motor....and the cost is just a lil too much...the caliber will be under 20k....and awd....i just need to see some more pics of it, or see it in person, cause i dont want a small vehicle...
They're alright. I didn't like them at first, but now that I drive by the plant where they are made every day on the way to work and get to see hundreds of them in every color, they have kind of grown on me.

it would probably cost less, and i KNOW it would be more reliable than the first generation of any car.

I work at a Dodge dealership and every single person here says it's a piece of crap and is weak. You will just have to drive one to find out. it's more of a good first car. they are comming out with an srt-4. it's more an opinionated thing. In case u didnt kno. the tranny is ran by gears. it's like pulleys one big pulley to a little pulley. there's not any shifting. but they did put in a fake shift jerk in there. i dont kno why. dodge is stupid
Tila Tequila? PPSSSSSHHH she's got nothing on me, except i'm not a porn star. and that's ok.
is it the same size as the matrix/vibe?? if so then its not gonna work cause its too small
well i actually went and looked at the caliber sunday , i like it big reason i like it , it shares a similar look with the magnum , and also with the vibe and the opel astra , and i like all 3
it actually sits taller than the magnum , its just not as wide
the only thing i though that sucked is the awd only comes with the 2.4vvt 176 hp motor , and auto trans , which isnt really the auto we all think of , its a CVT2 trans - continiously variable trans
dealer i was at only had a SE , but the seats are 10 times more comfy than the cobalts seats
i just wish the awd was avaialbe with the 5spd
and options seam to be very well thought out also
but i would find 1 and drive it
the vibe awd , come auto only also and the weaker of the 2 motors
i just dont know if i will be able to go from a 6400 lb full size to a lil car....i mean....think about it lol....and they are gonna have the awd 5spd in septemeber accordin to dodge...so that helps you, but i dont need 5spd...i dont wanna do any work when i drive...gas an go is all im lookin for...
So they're not going to make the SRT4 with AWD? Weaksauce!
the sales brochure i got said the R/T 2.4vvt 5spd was due out late this year , but made no mention of awd , just fwd
im sure the transistion from your cav to your truck , seamed a little odd for a short time
but itll take a while to get used to the smaller car again , and lack of balls , lol

But seriously, it is a huge step above the Neon, in creature comforts it is far ahead in its class (Chilled Glovebox, pop-down speakers on the hatch, AWD)
I actually heard the base engine with 10 less hp is more efficient, runs almost the same 1/4 time, and is less noisy than the bigger displacement version.
DCX's reliability has gone up ein the past couple of years, and they are doing good things with their line-up. Only time will tell if it's just as crappy as a neon or better.
I would honestly get one if the price is right. They are so roomy. I saw pictures of them on the internet and it looked like a normal car until I saw a few over in my city, they are alot bigger than they look.
However, I would wait a year or 2 and see how reliable they are and how high the satisfaction rating is at.
I don't think it comes with AWD but the Honda Element fits into the small yet big family. They also look much better now that they got rid of all that plastic cladding. Why are you getting rid of the truck? Is it just for financial reasons?

Ewww, I'd rather have a Malibu MAXX.
Maybe if its lowered. But stock, im just not feeling it at all.
ehhh.....guess it's not to bad, but i have not driven one yet so i can't really tell you how much of an improvement it's gonna be over a neon.
have u looked at an HHR?
i honestly hated them after looking at pics on the internet. BUT, after seeing some in person at the chicago auto show, it really changed my mind. fairly roomy and much better looking in person.
