dakota r/t', 13.50@100, my chances at a track?

this is all going to be at a track, not street racing, i hate how the owners of jbo always think everyones street racing. we are bracket racing at the local track (cecil county dragway).

hey wondering if i have any chance at all at even hanging with this dakota r/t that wants to run me, he said he will give me 1 car head start, he runs 13.50@100mph which means he probally has ungodly torque to have a low mph for his ET. i have installed the 2.6 pulley and now have a 50 shot of nitrous as opposed to the 2.8 pulley and the 35 shot i had running 13.901@103. thanks

double posts are the DEVIL.

that said...i think you'll lose. i really don't know one way or the other, but i don't care either. if you think you'll win, then go on that...WE can't tell you if you will or not. we don't know what HE may have done to his truck.

if your doing bracket racing it doesn't matter which car as faster, just who the better/more consistant driver is

in this case the first post was locked based on an assumption, so i dont think its really a fault to make another post clarifying said assumption was incorrect.

this isnt a my car versus this or that fourm and it was taken away for a reason

that is the reason that should have been stated

you know his time and you know yours , i dont see why your asking this

1 car i maybe 1/10th of a second at best

yes i know his time and mine, im just alittle confused on how to bench think the times cause of his low mph for the mid 13 due to him having alot of torque, im guessing hes not making it on the top end as much as low end? correct?

who cares? a 13.5 is a 13.5 torque or not it still runs a 13.5

just freaking race him and find out

and how is 100 mph a low trap for his et? check my sig... it got a lot less to do with torque and a lot more to do with knowing how to drive and getting his truck to hook up. now quit asking everyone to bench race for you and get out there and race the guy. Its not like your racing him for the right to keep your balls or not.

Exactly. If I let you post this, then inevitably more will follow. If you want to know who is faster, stop asking questions and race him. Logically if you know he runs a 13.5, you know how fast he is. You claim you live near this track and yet don't know how fast your car is? This post was in the wrong forum anyways, since you weren't asking about the other car, since you already know how fast he is. There are so many reasons to lock this now, and not one to continue, so please, either run your car separately and get a time for yourself, or just race him and find out.

Thanks.
