Well, yesterday I did the one thing I said I would never do. I SOLD my old truck. This truck has been in the family since 1991, and has been in my ownership since 2000 when I bought it off my old man.
I always said I would rather burn it then sell, but it hasn't been running for over 2 months now, and a good buddy of mince who has been bugging me for 2 years now to buy it so he can restore it finally made me an offer I couldn't refuse. So rather then seeing it rust away in my drive way, I let it go to someone I know will give it the second life I probably wouldn't have.
I have had a lot a cars, but this is the first time I have really be upset by the thought of selling one. He is coming to pick it up this afternoon, and I guess I am off to find a new 4x4 for myself.
Here is one last look at the best vehicle I have ever know...

Yeah I would maybe give you about $500 for a 15 year old, non-running truck.
Rob
Sold 2/2/05
umm yeah what he^^^said X2
Well, it's actually 16 years old, and are you guys CRAZY??
I am not sure what it is like where you guys are from, but around here a working 4wd power-train is worth AT LEAST $2000 even if the vehicle doesn't run, or even has a body for that matter. Maybe it is different there I guess.
If it hadn't been a long time friend, there is no way I would go below $3000 for that truck, but he has wanted it for years now.
