Nice truck aside from the wheels and tires, they ruin it if u ask me. The stock xtreme rims look much better than that even.

But yea, replace them rims and u'll have a nice truck.

And for the daily driver, I hope u got a Series 60 sittin under the hood! Well i guess i'm a little biased seeing as how I work for Detroit Diesel lol.

Actually im 18, and I have my CDL, You can get it at 18 you just cant leave the state your licensed in,(even though i do, ssshhhh!).

I agree about the wheels and tires, That was one of the downfalls, I bought it with those wheels and tires, I would deff rather have the stockies. Im gonna be getting a set of 5 spoke chrome 18's soon as I have the time and money.

And sorry, has a cummins ISX. 525 HP with a 10 speed, But we do have 2 freightliners with 60 series detroits and a freightliner with a mercedes(made by detroit).

Ive always loved the detroits but none of the ones ive driven pull like my cummins, Now the mercedes on the other hand, will outpull my cummins all day.

Ahh the cummins are so easy to work on. Theres nothing to that motor really. People assume they are hard to work on but let me tell you cars now and days are 100x harder to work on then diesel engines.

On topic, nice truck I use to be in love with the extreme's. Not so much anymore, but nice none the less.

Mines a 1997 and have opted out two times in less than 8 months for a new 05,06 freightliner daycab(piece of SHIAT).Farmer truck my rear differentials this truck gets any where from 8.5 to 8.9 mpg and has everything but air ride on the cab itself.I have 513,000 on it and got it with 174,000 and NO problems.I am a hard core international fan they build solid trucks and yes more hp would be nice.I am very pleased with mine and maybe I could convince my company to at least try buying a good truck besides junk liner cheap ,and go with a newer international when mine reaches the mileage by there standard and get it like what I have but ,more hp and same options.Other than that I love my trk and keep it cherry all the time.

yea, we have the 2 columbia condo's. One I hate cause its a base model with a 470 detroit, But our other one I love, its fully loaded with the mercedes engine and a 13 speed. I really love my truck but I found out yesterday there selling it because it has high mileage, 402,000. But my boss tries to keep a new fleet so she has to go. Im getting a FULLY loaded volvo day cab, Im not a fan of volvo's at all but it is a NICE truck.
