Well, it was great while it lasted. I hate that it had to be so short but Sunday a guy is coming to pick up my car. I really wish I could just ship it to Germany with me, but its ok. When I get back i'll get something real nice. If I get another camaro its going to be an LS1. I'll definately miss the camaro though. It was a lot of fun. Its nothing to see a really clean LS1 but its really rare around my area to see such a clean 3rd gen.
The guy seems real nice and is going to take good care of her. He's driving down from Texas and picking it up. I wont be losing any money on the car what so ever, so thats good.
Sad to see it go. Good luck in Germany, maybe you'll find a cheap BMW or something.

Oh yea I will. BMW's are cheap in germany but people dont realize they aren't like the BMW's here in America. A BMW here is so expensive because they are LOADED luxary vehicles. In Germany they are just cheap cars. Manual transmission, no AC sometimes, no power windows/door locks, cloth interrior. Germany vehicles usually dont even have cup holders.
Oh well, I still want a 325i =P
Yikes! Ok I have a small problem here, lol. Let me give you a little background first.
Ok, I saw the car on Autotrader for 4500 when I was looking to buy it. I had a loan setup with my bank for 4500. The sent ME and check adressed to the seller of the car. I went and looked at it and there was some things that I was not informed about. So I got him down to 3900. So we went to the bank he deposited the banks check and took 600 cash back. I used the extra cash for the trip and some other bills I had to pay. Well now I have a loan for 4500 on a 3900 dollar car.
Now you know that part. I put the car up for 4000 to cover the price of the car and the gas on the trip etc.. I owe 4250 still. I had a buyer lined up for 4k and I was going to meet him half way which was a 2 hr drive for me. Another guy told me he would come to me and give me 4250 for the car. So I told the other guy ok he's giving me more I need to sell the car to him to cover my loan. The original guy who said he'd give me 4k said ok i'll give you 4300 we keep the same deal.
I'd be spending the extra money on gas but it would be nice to go see the Mississippi river and take a little family trip, but heres where my dilema is. We are all car enthuasist here so when we HAVE to get rid of a car we want it to go to a good home like were putting our child up for adoption. The first guy is older and drives a 72 Chevelle and is buying the car as a gift for his brother-in-law since he's comming home from Iraq. The second guy is a young kid. I talked to him on the phone and told him I was offered 4300 and he sounded really sad and said he would talk to his mother because 4300 was his max and he had to pay for gas also still. So should I sell the car to the guy who wants to give it away as a gift or the young kid? LOL I kind of just want the kid to have it because I think he'll really appreciate it. He said he loves the 3rd gen camaro and it would be his 3rd one he's owned. So i dont know. I guess I could just play the ass hold and give it to who ever fronts the most dough. Money talks and bull @!#$ walks =/ I hate selling stuff haha.
sell to whomever has the money first.
And goodluck in Germany you'll love it my brother just got deployed there for a year
tough decision... id give it to the kid though as long as hed take care of it. sad to see such a nice car go though.
Check out my build thread!

Sell it to the older guy.
1) He was first
2) It's going into good hands (not that the kid isn't necessarily good hands, but...you know...whatever)
I'd go with the older guy. The kid is talking TO HIS MOM about money. I know I beat on my first car and so did almost every one of my friends, regardless if we payed for it ourselves or not. The older guy is more likely to keep track of it since he seems like a car enthusiast and his brother probably has the same tastes.

Well I didn't really have a set deal with either one yet. I talked to the older guy and told him I was talking to the kid but I hadn't heard back from him and I would give the older guy a call tomorrow. Then like maybe 10 minutes later the kid had called back.
I say try for the first guy first, its the right thing to do
Karma has a way of biting you in the ass, and this could turn into one of those things where if you screw around neither one will take it
Well, I chose to go with the kid because he reminded me so much of how I was when I wanted to get the car. I was so excited.
Yea, it kicked me in the ass. He flaked out on me and never called/showed, or answered his phone. The other guy was passing through so I lost that oppertunity also.
Theres good news from that all though. I get to keep the car! Yea my orders got cancelled last week. My wife is really happy. I'm a little disappointed though I thought it would be fun to be in Germany for a few years. My house is looking good though and I get to keep the car. So I guess its good I didn't sell the car =P
My baby is staying with me.
Wow, now your just lucky u didnt sell it.
