hmmm, shoulda stopped in here earlier.

it all depends on what you want. are you ok with switchin out your plugs a lot?

GTP guys usually use one of three plugs. most use autolite's. the cheap copper ones. our engines seem to like em pretty well, but the copper isnt good for longetivity and you have to change them 3 to 4 times as much. the stock acdelco platnums are good in these cars but it's a good idea to switch to colder plugs when adding more boost. the others, such as myself, are going with NGK irradium plugs. i just put mine in with the cam, and... well, they're spark plugs. i pulled them out last week, they looked fine. better than teh ACdelco plat's i was using before. platnum and irradium plugs clean themselves at lower temperatures, so you can run "colder" plugs in your car without worrying about them fouling. this is the big reason for running them in boosted applications. colder plugs are wonderful. if you dont know what colder plugs are, just let me know, i'll explain.

if you dont mind me askin, why are you changing plugs? if you've got relitively few miles on your car, and it's still in stock form, then the stock plugs are pretty much the best to put in there... that's why they're there

Andy

it's not how fast you go, it's how you get there that counts.
ZZP XP cam, 1.6 rockers, 105# springs, speedbuilt FWI, 3.3" modular pulley, TOG headers,
3" exhaust, flomatched injectors
'97 GTP 14.06@100.6mph pre cam w/ 3.5" pulley, I/E
